They didn’t even bother to be subtle about it this Time.

On Sunday Night, Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court declared that 81-year-old Communist, Comrade Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva — a Man Breitbart accurately labels a “radical Marxist” and a convicted Felon — had “won” a Fourth Term by 51.79% to 48.21%. The Margin: 4,429,907 Votes.

In fact some 7-8 MILLION VOTES just MAGICALLY APPEARED……

Three Weeks earlier, Lula had lost the first Round by 2.2 Million. In forty Years of Brazilian Democracy, no first-Round Loser had ever come back to take the Runoff.

Flávio Bolsonaro, the Conservative Senator, watched the Returns and told Reporters it was “impossible to concede.” He is filing for Annulment.

Here is what actually happened, and why he is right to fight.

I. The Five Reasons Flávio Bolsonaro Will Not Concede

1. A Single Judge — Lula’s Own Former Defense Attorney — Rewrote the Rules Mid-Vote

CBN News confirms the Detail that should stop every Conservative cold: Supreme Federal Court Justice Cristiano Zanin issued his Ruling three Minutes before the scheduled Close of Voting, unilaterally keeping Polls open an extra two Hours nationwide.

Zanin is not a neutral Figure. As CBN notes, he is “Lula’s former Lawyer” — the Man who defended Lula against the Corruption Convictions that landed him in Prison — and Lula appointed him to the Bench in 2023.

Breitbart reports that the Ruling was “unprecedented” and that no other Supreme Court Justice participated. One Man, with a Pen, on behalf of the Man who used to sign his Checks.

Bolsonaro’s Charge, via CBN: Zanin was “changing the Rules of the Game in the Middle of the Game.”

2. It Was Tailored to Lula’s Geography

Breitbart’s Reporting is damning on the Specifics. Zanin ruled that only Polling Stations that had not yet closed could remain open — and once a Station closes, it cannot easily reopen. So the Stations that refused to close got two extra Hours. Guess which ones.

The Cities where Lula’s Campaign complained about Buses — Salvador, Lauro de Freitas, and Feira de Santana — are all in Bahía, the deep Northeast, a Workers’ Party Stronghold.

And it worked. The first Round saw a record 21% Abstention, which hurt Lula worst because his Voters live furthest from Polling Stations. In the Runoff, Abstention fell — and Lula’s entire Comeback was built on Turnout.

Brazilian Authorities were sufficiently suspicious that they ordered the Arrest of Pablo Souza, Salvador’s Transport Secretary, over the Bus Incident.

3. Lula Tried This Exact Move in 2022 — and Got Rejected

The historical Irony is exquisite. Breitbart reports that Lula attempted the same Extension Gambit in 2022 against Jair Bolsonaro. Justice Alexandre de Moraes rejected it.

Four Years later, with a Lula-appointed Justice on the Bench, the same Request was granted.

4. The Banco Master Scandal Has Gutted the Court’s Credibility

The Washington Times reports that Brazil’s Supreme Court is “in the throes of an unprecedented Crisis.” Sessions are being cancelled. Justices are overruling each other. And the Cause is the Collapse of Banco Master — a $16 Billion Bank shut down after a sprawling multi-Billion-Real Fraud Investigation.

Among those implicated: Justice Alexandre de Moraes himself, who personally advised the arrested Banker Daniel Vorcaro — while Moraes’s Wife held a 130 Million Reais (~$23 Million) legal Services Contract with the Bank.

Justice André Mendonça, a Bolsonaro Appointee, was overseeing the Case. Moraes’s Faction wants him investigated. Mendonça wants Moraes suspended.

5. Because Moraes Has Spent Six Years Jailing and Deplatforming Conservatives

Even the BBC — as the Washington Stand notes with some Relish — concedes the structural Problem: the Court “acts as both Prosecutor and Judge, initiating Investigations while also serving as the Court of final Appeal.”

II. The Honest Caveat

A Conservative Article that hides this isn’t worth writing.

Both Candidates requested the Extension, per CBN. Lula cited Buses in São Paulo and Salvador. Bolsonaro cited heavy Rains in the South, where he is favored. Polling Stations in Brasília and Rio closed on Time anyway.

And the electoral Court’s President, Kassio Nunes Marques — a Bolsonaro Appointee — said publicly that the Extension did not change the Result.

So the legal Case for Annulment is real but uphill. As CBN’s quoted Law Professor put it, the Extension is “unusual” but Bolsonaro would have to prove it suppressed the free Expression of Voters’ Will.

But the political Case is overwhelming. One Justice, appointed by the Beneficiary, changed the Terms of a national Election three Minutes before the Deadline, in a Country where the top Court is currently under a Graft Cloud. That is not a Conspiracy Theory. That is a Timeline.

III. The Price of Crushing Socialism

Now the Ledger. This is what four Years of Lula has cost the Brazilian People.

Add it up: the State grows, the Currency rots, the Entrepreneur is punished, the Citizen is squeezed. That is crushing Socialism, in Numbers.

IV. The Good News — The Right Took the Legislature

Here is what the establishment Press is burying.

The Christian Post reports that Brazil’s Evangelicals broke hard for Bolsonaro — Datafolha had him leading Evangelicals 62% to 29% while Lula led Catholics 52-42. One Voter told CBN she chose Bolsonaro “because she wants Freedom to express her evangelical Religion.”

And on October 4, that Coalition delivered. Breitbart and the Washington Stand both report that Flávio Bolsonaro’s Liberal Party won 28 of the Senate’s 81 Seats — the largest Bloc since 1988. In the Chamber, the Rio Times confirms the PL took 121 of 513 Seats, up from 99, the largest Party in the House.

V. Why America Should Care

Brazil is a $2.6 Trillion Economy, the largest in Latin America, a BRICS Member, and a self-declared Counterweight to American Power.

Lula has spent the Campaign accusing Washington of “Interference” while Brazil’s Trade Ministry admits China takes 28.7% of Brazilian Exports against America’s 10.8%.

The Trump Administration has applied real Pressure: a 25% Section 301 Tariff on Brazilian Goods effective July 22, and the Designation of the Red Command and First Capital Command as Foreign Terrorist Organizations — a direct Strike at the Cartels bleeding Brazil dry. Lula rejects the Gang Designation.

And Brazil refused to join The Shield of the Americas, the U.S.-led anti-Cartel Coalition launched in March. Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru — all in. Brazil, out.

Meanwhile, seven of South America’s twelve Nations now have right-leaning Presidents. Argentina’s Milei called Lula a “Communist Dictator.” Flávio was supposed to be the eighth Domino.

Instead, the Domino was stood back up — by a Judge who used to work for the other Guy.

VI. What Now

Lula takes Office January 5, 2027. The formal Diploma is due December 18.

Bolsonaro’s Annulment Bid is a longshot. Overturning a certified Election is hard.

But this Movement was never about one Night. The Liberal Party will fight in the Courts and in the Senate. The evangelical Churches will keep organizing. And the Brazilian People — the ones who still go to Church, still run the Shop, still pay the Tax — will fight at the Ballot Box again.

Flávio Bolsonaro, 45 Years old, has Time. Lula, about to turn 81, does not.

A Note on the Caveat: the Annulment is legally uphill — Bolsonaro’s own Appointee on the electoral Court says the Extension didn’t change the Outcome. But the Mechanism is undeniable: one Man, appointed by the Winner, three Minutes before the Deadline, in a Court currently under a Graft Investigation. Whether or not it gets overturned, the Voters now know exactly who was holding the Pen.
