The UN’s Special Procedures Mandate-holders receive Global Platforms, Institutional Authority, and direct Funding, yet operate with minimal Oversight or Accountability.

The UN Watch Report documents thirteen of these “experts” who exemplify the System’s Rot:

• Irene Khan, Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression, who attacks Western Democracies while remaining silent on Repression in China, Iran, and other Authoritarian States. She defends Al Jazeera (Qatar’s Hamas Mouthpiece) as a “Champion of Free Speech” while dismissing Antisemitism as “weaponized” against Critics of Israel.
• Tlaleng Mofokeng, Special Rapporteur on the “Right to Health”, who uses Profanity and Racist Abuse on Social Media, promotes Prostitution to Teenagers, and openly endorses Hamas Terrorists. She tweeted “F**k off” to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and defended the “armed Struggle” against Israel.
• Michael Fakhri, Special Rapporteur on the “Right to Food”, is advancing Famine Libels against Israel. He conducted a Propaganda Visit to Venezuela, whitewashing Maduro’s Abuses while blaming Western Sanctions.
• Balakrishnan Rajagopal, Special Rapporteur on “Adequate Housing”, who describes the United States as a “Rogue State” and the World’s “biggest Threat to International Peace.” He co-authored a Book with 9/11 Conspiracy Theorist Richard Falk denouncing International Law as an “Imperial” System.
• Ben Saul, Special Rapporteur on “Counterterrorism”, who calls the United States a “Dystopia” and “Gangster State” while accepting $150,000 from China. He defends the Genocidal Chant “from the River to the Sea” and advocates for Israel’s Destruction.
• Gina Romero, Special Rapporteur on “Peaceful Assembly”, who defends Antisemitic Campus Protests as legitimate “Resistance” while claiming Israel has been “ethnically Cleansing Palestinians for 77 Years.”
• Alena Douhan, Special Rapporteur on “Unilateral Coercive Measures”, who received $1.3 Million from China, Russia, and Qatar while exonerating these Regimes of Human Rights Abuses. She praised Assad’s Syria for its “Responsiveness” and “Support.”

The Obsessive Anti-Israel Crusade

Since October 7, 2023, UN Special Procedures issued 148 Statements targeting Israel — more than twice those on Russia’s War against Ukraine and six times those on Sudan’s Civil War. They issued 106 Joint Statements on Israel compared to 29 on Russia, systematically denying Israel’s Right to Self-Defense while minimizing Hamas Atrocities.

These “experts” have:

• Repeatedly accused Israel — the Country that (headshakingly!) warns its Enemies well before an Attack on Terrorists and feed their Enemies with daily Convoys of Food and Medical Aid — of “Genocide” and “Extermination” (an “Extermination” which has caused an increase of nearly 1 Million People — FED BY ISRAEL… That is some “Genocide”, huh…!) while ignoring Hamas’s documented Atrocities and highly Illegal Human Shield Tactics

• Defended violent Pro-Palestinian Protests involving Antisemitic Harassment, Intimidation, and Vandalism as “Peaceful Assembly”

• Called for Israel’s Exclusion from International Sports while allowing Russian and Belarusian Athletes to compete as “Neutral” Contestants

• Endorsed the “Right of Return” which would end Israel as a Jewish State through Demographic Destruction

• Normalized Hamas Narratives and Propaganda while dismissing Evidence of Hamas Terrorists operating as “Journalists”

• Minimized or denied Hamas’s Sexual Violence against Israeli Women on October 7, with Reem Alsalem claiming “No independent Investigation found that Rape took Place”

• Blamed Israel for Humanitarian Crises while ignoring Hamas’s Diversion of Aid and use of Civilian Infrastructure for Military Purposes

The Hypocrisy of Funding and Influence

The Report exposes how Authoritarian Regimes and Politicized Foundations buy Influence through the UN’s opaque Funding System:

• Alena Douhan accepted $1.3 Million from Communist China, Communist Russia, and Islamic Terrorist Qatar while producing Reports exonerating these same Regimes of Human Rights Abuses. After receiving $200,000 from China, she whitewashed Beijing’s Persecution of Uyghurs. Following her Office’s receipt of $50,000 from Qatar, she lobbied Gulf States to lift Sanctions on the Terror-sponsoring Nation.
• Ben Saul took $150,000 from Communist China while rarely criticizing Beijing’s Human Rights Record. His Reports consistently target Western Democracies while giving Authoritarian Regimes a free Pass.
• George Katrougalos received $100,000 from Communist China and has close Ties to Communist Cuba, Revolutionary Islamic Iran, and Communist Russia. He met with Cuba’s Dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel and praised Communist China’s Governance Model while calling for Structural Changes to Global Governance that would demolish Free, Christian and Democratic States.
• The Ford Foundation has provided over $6 Million to multiple Mandate-holders, funding Organizations that seek to Boycott and Delegitimize Israel. The Foundation’s Grantees include Groups defending Violent and Antisemitic Pro-Palestinian Protests on College Campuses.
• Open Society Foundations contributed approximately $3 Million to Special Procedures, with Soros’s Network funding Groups that glorified the October 7 Hamas Terrorist Attack and have Links to the PFLP Terrorist Organization.
  FACTS ABOUT THE TERRORISTS OF HAMAS AND THEIR OCTOBER 7TH ATTACK:

Perhaps the most Insidious Aspect of the UN’s Corruption is the way Marxist Billionaires like George Soros use their vast Wealth to prop up these UN Monsters through their “Open Society” Network. Soros and his ilk have poured Millions into “Special Procedures”, effectively purchasing Influence and ensuring that these “experts” advance their Radical Globalist Agenda.

The Open Society Foundations, established by Soros, has contributed approximately $3 Million to Special Procedures Mandate-holders. This Money comes with Strings attached — the advancement of Soros’s Anti-Western, Anti-Israel, and Anti-Capitalist Ideology. The Network funds Groups that glorify Hamas Attacks, promote Radical Gender Ideology, and work to undermine National Sovereignty worldwide.

Soros’s Funding creates a Shadow Puppet Master System where UN Mandate-holders dance to the Tune of their Billionaire Benefactors. These supposed “Independent Experts” are nothing more than Paid Mouthpieces for a Radical Agenda that seeks to destroy the very Foundations of Western Civilization. The Marriage between Marxist Money and UN Power has created a MONSTER that threatens Freedom and Democratic Processes across the Globe.

The Nationalist Money Machine: A Global Corruption Conspiracy

The Peril extends far beyond Marxist Billionaires. A more insidious Threat emerges when Nations themselves — particularly Authoritarian Regimes — are permitted to directly fund and corrupt these UN Monsters. This creates a dangerous Nexus where Tyrannical Governments purchase International Legitimacy, turning supposed Human Rights Guardians into paid Propagandists for the World’s worst Abusers.

The Evidence is staggering. Alena Douhan, the UN Rapporteur on Sanctions, accepted over $1.3 Million from Communist China, Communist Russia, and Islamic Terrorist Qatar. In a grotesque Quid Pro Quo, she then produced Reports exonerating these very same Regimes. After receiving nearly $1 Million from Communist China, she whitewashed Beijing’s Systematic Persecution of Falun Gong, Uyghurs and other Minorities and Dissidents in Communist China. Following a $50,000 Payment from Qatar, she dutifully lobbied Gulf States to lift Sanctions on that Terror-sponsoring Nation.

This pattern repeats itself. Ben Saul, the UN Counterterrorism Expert, accepted $150,000 from Communist China while his Reports targeted Western Democracies and gave Beijing a free Pass on its documented Abuses. George Katrougalos, the “Independent” Expert, received $100,000 from Communist China while maintaining cozy Relationships with Communist Criminal Cuba, Islamic Revolutionary Iran, and Communist Russia — using his UN Platform to attack the West and praise these Dictatorships.

The Hypocrisy is breathtaking. These Regimes — which jail Dissidents, suppress Freedom, and commit gross Human Rights Violations — are allowed to purchase a clean Bill of Health from the UN’s supposed Watchdogs. Communist China, with its Concentration Camps for Dissidents, Falun Gong / Falun Dafa, and Uyghurs, becomes a “Responsible State” in UN Reports. Communist Russia, which invades Neighbors, is portrayed as a Victim. Terrorist Haven, Qatar, which funds Terrorists and treats Migrant Workers as Slaves, is celebrated as a Champion of Human Rights…

This System creates a Perverse Incentive where the Worst Actors are rewarded for their Abuses with International Validation.
The UN has become a Marketplace where Tyranny can purchase Respectability, and Authoritarian Regimes can launder their Reputations through the very Institution designed to hold them accountable.

The Danger cannot be overstated. When Nations like Communist China, Communist Russia, Islamic Qatar, and Islamic Iran are allowed to fund and direct UN Mandate-holders, the entire International Human Rights Framework becomes a Weapon of the Oppressors rather than a Shield for the Vulnerable. The UN’s Credibility is not just tarnished — it is completely annihilated, replaced by a cynical System where Money buys Influence and Abusers purchase Impunity.

This Global Corruption Conspiracy represents an Existential Threat to Freedom and Human Dignity Worldwide. It transforms the United Nations from a flawed Ideal into A Dangerous Tool for Authoritarian Expansionism. No free Nation can continue to participate in or fund such a Deeply Compromised Institution.

The Conservative and Christian Call for UNexit

Conservative and Christian Voices have increasingly recognized that the UN is beyond Reform and must be abandoned.
The Federalist’s John Daniel Davidson argues that “the UN has become a corrupt Organization that serves the Interests of Dictatorships and Terrorist-sponsoring States while attacking the United States and Israel.” He points out that “the UN Human Rights Council includes some of the World’s worst Human Rights Violators as Members, including China, Cuba, Eritrea, Russia, and Venezuela.”

The Heritage Foundation’s Brett Schaefer notes that “the UN’s Human Rights Mechanisms have been hijacked by Authoritarian States to deflect Criticism while attacking Democracies.” He emphasizes that “the United States provides 22% of the UN’s regular Budget but receives nothing but Condemnation in Return.”

Christian Commentator Todd Starnes writes that “the UN has become an Instrument of Globalist Elites who despise Western Values and Judeo-Christian Principles.” He points to the UN’s promotion of Radical Gender Ideology and its Attacks on Religious Freedom as Evidence that “the Organization is fundamentally Hostile to People of Faith.”

Pastor John MacArthur has called the UN “a modern-day Tower of Babel” where “Nations gather to defy God’s Authority and establish their own Godless Global Order.” He argues that “Christians should have no Part in an Organization that promotes Abortion, Homosexuality, and the Persecution of Believers worldwide.”

The American Family Association’s Tim Wildmon urges complete Withdrawal: “The UN actively works to undermine American Sovereignty and advance a Radical Leftist Agenda that includes Abortion on Demand, LGBTQ Indoctrination of Children, and the Erosion of Religious Liberty.”

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton has long argued that “the UN is fundamentally Irreformable because its Structure gives disproportionate Power to Authoritarian States.” He recommends that “the United States should Withdraw and form an alternative Organization of Democratic Nations.”

The Path Forward: Leaving the Corrupted UN

We must:

1. Form a Democratic Accountability Coalition of Like-minded Nations — Primarily Judeo-Christian Founded Nations to jointly assess and publicly rate UN Special Rapporteurs. Nations that pander to Totalitarian Ideologies like Marxism and islam must be kept out!

3. Establish Alternative International Frameworks for Human Rights Monitoring that maintain Professional Standards and actual Independence

4. Challenge the Legitimacy of UN Reports in International Courts and Domestic Legal Systems
   ‎
5. Create a Public Database documenting the Bias, Misconduct, and Funding Sources of UN Mandate-holders

The UN has transformed from a Forum for protecting Human Rights into a Platform for attacking them. Its Special Procedures have become not Watchdogs but Ideologues — more devoted to advancing Anti-Western Narratives than protecting the Vulnerable. The Time for Reform has passed; the Time for Departure has arrived.

Democratic Nations cannot continue to lend Legitimacy to this Perversion of Human Rights. We must Withdraw our Support, our Funding, and our Presence, and build new Institutions worthy of the Name Human Rights.
