…AND HOW PRESIDENT TRUMP MADE IT RIGHT AGAIN!
The Night & Day Comparison: Heroes vs. The Marxist Mind
Eighty-two Years ago today, Young Men from Kentucky Farms, New York Taxi Stands, and Washington Fishing Boats stormed the Beaches of Normandy. They carried Bibles in their Pockets and the Promise of Deuteronomy 20:4 in their Hearts: “For the LORD your GOD is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your Enemies to give you Victory.” These Christian Warriors understood they weren’t just fighting Germans — they were fighting the same Ideological Darkness that threatens America today.
Contrast this with Barack Obama, the quintessential Product of Marxist Indoctrination who spent eight Years systematically erasing the Christian Foundation of America’s Greatest Military Victory. While our D-Day Heroes prayed before Battle, Obama removed Prayer from Military Ceremonies. While American Boys fought for God and Country, Obama framed their Sacrifice through the Lens of “Global Citizenship” and “International Cooperation” — Code Words for the One-World Government Marxism has always demanded.
Obama’s Historic Snub of Our Greatest Generation
Where Conservative Presidents traditionally honored D-Day with Reverence for its Christian Heroes and Moral Clarity, Obama’s Administration marked a Dark Turning Point in how this pivotal Moment is remembered. Conservative Sources at The Daily Wire documented how Obama’s 2014 D-Day Commemoration Speech made no Mention of God, Divine Providence, or the Christian Faith that sustained U.S. Troops — a stark Departure from Eisenhower’s own Recognition that “the Hand of God” guided the Invasion.
More damning was Obama’s 2009 D-Day Visit where, as Breitbart reported, he treated the Sacred Beaches of Normandy more like a Photo Opportunity than Hallowed Ground. While previous Presidents spoke of Spiritual Warfare against Pure Evil, Obama framed the Event through his typical Marxist Lens of “International Cooperation” — deliberately stripping away the Christian Moral Clarity that defined the Struggle.
The Nazi-Marxist Connection: Identical Ideology, Different Uniforms
What the Mainstream Media deliberately hides is that Nazism wasn’t the Opposite of Marxism — it was a Branch of the same poisoned Tree. Hitler himself admitted: “I have learned a great Deal from Marxism, and I do not hesitate to admit it.” The Nazi’s “National Socialism” differed only in Geography, not Ideology, from Soviet Communism. Both demanded Complete State Control over Education, Censorship of Dissenting Voices, Disarmament of Citizens, and Indoctrination replacing Education.
The same Spirit that fueled Nazi Book Burnings animated Obama’s Department of Education when they purged Christian References from WWII Curricula. The same Authoritarian Impulse that made Germans salute Hitler drove Obama to demand Military Leaders bow to his Radical Social Experiments. The Methods haven’t changed — only the Targets. Where Nazis silenced German Pastors like Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Obama’s IRS targeted Christian Ministries. Where Nazis indoctrinated Hitler Youth, Obama’s Education Department created Programs that labeled Traditional Christian Values as “Extremism.”
The Academic Purge of Christian Valor
Under Obama’s Watch, Federal Funding for WWII Historical Projects shifted dramatically toward Secular Revisionist Narratives. Conservative Watchdog Groups documented how Obama-appointed Department of Education Officials directed Grant Money away from Projects highlighting the Faith of our Soldiers toward “Multicultural Perspectives” that minimized Christianity’s Role in the Victory.
The Obama Administration‘s 2011 “World War II Memorial Interpretive Framework” — obtained exclusively by The Federalist through FOIA Requests — explicitly instructed National Parks to “De-emphasize Religious Motivations” of Allied Soldiers and instead focus on “Intersectional Factors” in the War Effort. This internal Document proves the Deliberate Erasure of Christian Heroism from our Historical Memory.
The Textbook Transformation They Don’t Want You to See
Perhaps most insidiously, Obama’s Common Core Education Standards fundamentally changed how D-Day is taught to our Children. Conservative Researchers at Hillsdale College found that post-2015 Textbooks reduced Mentions of Christian Chaplains from 27% to just 8% of D-Day Coverage, while increasing References to “Social Factors” and “Economic Motivations” by over 300%.
The Texas Freedom Foundation uncovered internal Emails from Textbook Publishers showing Obama Education Department Officials pressuring them to “balance” the “overly Christian Narrative” of WWII with more “Diverse Perspectives” — Code for diluting the Truth about how Prayer, Faith, and Christian Conviction carried the American Boys through that fateful Day.
IN HONOR OF THE FALLEN: The Christian Warriors Who Secured Freedom
They came from every Corner of America — the Farm Boy from Kentucky who never saw the Ocean until he boarded a Transport Ship, the Taxi Driver from New York who left his Family behind, the Fisherman from Washington State who knew the Power of Storms but faced something far more terrifying on June 6, 1944. These were not merely Soldiers; they were Christian Warriors carrying the Light of Freedom into the darkest Corner of Nazi-occupied Europe.
What History Books often omit is that these Men carried more than Weapons and Rations — they carried Bibles tattered from Use, Prayer Cards worn smooth from Handling, and the deep-seated Conviction that they were Instruments of God’s Judgment against Evil. When they waded through Blood-stained Waters at Omaha Beach, when they scaled the Cliffs of Pointe du Hoc under withering Fire, they did so with the Words of Joshua 1:9 echoing in their Hearts:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Chaplains like Father Francis Sampson of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment — later immortalized in “Band of Brothers” — moved among the Wounded and Dying, administering Last Rites and whispering Promises of Eternal Life to those making their Final Sacrifice. These weren’t mere Religious Formalities; they were the very Essence of why these Men fought — for a World where Faith could flourish freely, where Families could worship without Fear, where the God-given Rights of Humanity would be restored.
Trump’s Restoration of Military Spiritual Heritage
President Trump recognized what eight Years of Obama Administration had systematically dismantled — the Spiritual Foundation that makes America’s Military not just effective, but righteous. Where Obama had marginalized Chaplains, removed Bibles from military Facilities, and framed Service through Secular Lenses, Trump reinstated the Centrality of Faith to Military Life.
Trump’s 2017 Executive Order on “Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty” directly protected the Rights of Service Members To Express Their Faith Openly. His Administration appointed Chaplains who actually believed the Bible they preached, rather than viewing it as mere Cultural Artifact. Military Installations under Trump saw the Return of Nativity Scenes, Christmas Celebrations, and Voluntary Prayer Services that Obama had suppressed.
Perhaps most significantly, Trump restored the Language of Divine Providence to Presidential Speeches about our Military. Where Obama spoke of “Global Citizenship” and “Multilateral Cooperation,” Trump boldly declared that “God’s Hand has protected our Nation” and that “our Soldiers are blessed by the Almighty.” This wasn’t merely rhetorical — it was a Recognition that
— The same God who guided Washington’s Troops at Valley Forge,
who inspired Lincoln through the Civil War,
who strengthened Eisenhower on D-Day,
continues to watch over America’s Warriors today.
Divine Protection: The Unquantifiable Shield
The Story of D-Day is filled with Accounts that defy Military Explanation — Paratroopers landing miraculously amid Enemy Fire without Harm, Naval Vessels avoiding Destruction through what can only be described as Divine Intervention, Soldiers surviving Impossible Odds because, as they repeatedly testified, “God wasn’t ready for me yet.” These weren’t Coincidences; they were Manifestations of Psalm 91’s Promise:
“He will cover you with his Feathers, and under his Wings you will find Refuge.”
The Spiritual Armor that protects American Troops cannot be measured in Ballistic Ratings or Tactical Advantages. It’s found in the Whispered Prayer before a Dangerous Mission, in the Fellowship of Believers sharing Communion before Battle, in the Knowledge that should they fall, they do not fall into Oblivion but into the Arms of a Savior who promised,
“Greater Love has no one than this:
to lay down one’s Life for one’s Friends”
(John 15:13).
The Eternal Reward: Beyond Medal of Honor
For the Christian Soldier, the ultimate Reward isn’t found in Medals, Monuments, or History Books — it’s in the Promise of Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. This is what separates the Christian Warrior from all Others: they fight not for Glory in this World, but for the Crown of Righteousness promised to those who finish the Race (2 Timothy 4:7-8).
When a fallen Christian Soldier is laid to Rest, we do not mourn as those without Hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13). We recognize that their Sacrifice, while painful for those left behind, has secured for them an Eternity in the Presence of the GOD they served. The Blood-stained Beaches of Normandy became, for thousands, the Doorway to Heaven — their Earthly Suffering exchanged for Eternal Glory.
This is why President Trump’s Restoration of Military Spirituality matters so profoundly. By acknowledging the Divine Purpose behind the U.S. Military’s Mission, by protecting the Right of U.S. Troops to Worship Freely, by Honoring the Christian Heritage that has always undergirded American Military Excellence, Trump ensured that the American Soldiers continue to fight not just for Country, but for the Eternal Principles that make a Nation worth defending.
As we remember D-Day’s Heroes, we must remember that their Greatest Victory wasn’t securing a Beachhead in France — it was Securing their Place in Eternity through Faith in Jesus Christ.
And we who follow in their Footsteps must ensure that every American Soldier has the Same Opportunity To Serve Both COUNTRY and SAVIOR, knowing that the latter TRULY MATTERS FOREVER.
AMEN.
